Changes in Store for Unconventional Thinking

Lately, we have been talking about all the different things blog platforms can now do. With that in mind, we decided it’s time to overhaul the Unconventional Thinking blog on MSCO’s website to be more reflective of the strength of our company.
In the coming weeks, you’ll notice new content from different authors like myself. These things may range from MSCO news to client happenings. We even have a few surprises in store that we’ll talk more about with you soon.
Don’t worry; Mark Stevens is still going to be writing his “Unconventional Thinking” posts, which will be tagged and searchable. We’re only enhancing the experience with new media and perspectives. Stay tuned.
Distinctive Offices Launches New Site

MSCO client Distinctive Offices unveiled their new branding to the world this week by way of a newly designed website. This new online presence officially marks the company's transition into a brand that MSCO developed to be more polished and refined as a way to separate them from other contracting vendors.
Formerly known as Floorworks, Distinctive Offices offers cost effective, streamlined approach to attaining a new office look and feel with its Rapid Facelift Process. Among their projects in the past has been the New York Rangers locker room refurbishing, including a replacement for the team's logo in the carpet.
Tommy Jay Appointed New MSCO Vice President

In a move sure to delight clients and media alike, MSCO promoted long time Account Strategist Tommy Jay Dlabola to firm Vice President on Monday.
Tommy has been an integral part of the MSCO team for years in advertising campaign planning and execution as well as copywriting. In 2007, he earned a dual BA with honors in Communications and English from Tulane University in New Orleans following the events of Hurricane Katrina. He then began his career at Clear Channel Radio in media sales and business development helping local and national accounts achieve their advertising goals.
Since 2010, Tommy has used his media expertise to provide campaign recommendations for key MSCO clients including AIG, Printing for Less, America’s Incredible Pizza Company and Mars Drinks among others. He has planned media in dozens of local markets of all sizes across the country as well as on a national scale. He also serves as MSCO’s chief copywriter and is an accomplished musician, writing several jingles for MSCO clients to their delight.
We all look forward to Tommy's continued contribution as an MSCO team leader, innovative thinker and key account manager. Congratulations!

The influx of design projects lately has led MSCO to expand its team. Please join us in welcoming our new hire Matt Carlsen to our creative department.
A graduate of West Chester University in Pennsylvania, Matt now joins our Westchester, NY team. His previous experience has come at the hands of Onmicom, MTV Networks, Loehmann's and International Wine & Spirits.

Snowstorms Mean Attention for The Blizzerator

With much of the northern tier of the country and Canada covered in snow, MSCO client The Blizzerator is getting tons of publicity.
Sunday, 2/2 Blizzerator inventor and founder Rick Henningsen was a guest on KCBQ show You Auto Know to talk about the innovative snow brush, scraper and squeegee. Later this month, Rick will appear on CityLine, a national Canadian morning program.
With more winter storms on the way, The Blizzerator is sure to get some more exposure in the press.
