Madison AvenueFew things in marketing are as powerful as a Killer Offer. Certainly not the aesthetics voodoo Madison Avenue worships.

Perfect example: Bank of America is now offering a special price on online equity trades for customers with $25,000 in their accounts. That price is zero!

How will you answer that Scott Trade? Ameritrade? Fidelity?

    I totally agree about the killer offer. I recently tested the differences between a serious ad and an ad that was a little off the wall, but had a killer offer attached. Guess which one won?! The killer offer wins every time!
