Video Production Begins for TF Andrew Cable Spot

Westchester’s premier flooring center TF Andrew has enlisted MSCO to script, produce and air its first TV commercial. We shot the first half of that commercial yesterday on location in Greenwich, CT. Special thanks to Nick and Amy for allowing us to use their house for the video production.

This Westchester video production is just the next step in our marketing strategy for TF Andrew which includes, a new high-end branding, TV, print, internet marketing, PPC advertising and direct mail. We’re pulling out all the stops promoting their new store in Elmsford and helping them transition their New Rochelle location into the upscale showroom experience currently offered at their flagship. We’ll also be opening an outlet center for deals on designer name floors sometime in the coming months.

With 10 actors, including extras (and a cameo by yours truly as the flower guy), it was one of MSCO’s most involving commercial scripts of late. Not a problem for director and producer Stephen Kerstein who managed the actors magnificently and got some great footage during the 8 hour video production for the :30 second commercial. If you live in Westchester, look for the spot on networks like Bravo, Food Network, HGTV, News 12 and more. And look for more coming from TF Andrew in the coming weeks and months, including a big grand opening gala Thursday October 16th at their Elmsford showroom.

MSCO Begins Advertising on ESPN Radio

Starting today, MSCO is testing new advertising on 98.7 ESPN Radio in New York. Building on our successful radio advertising on similar stations in the area, we constantly look to new channels and media to get the word out about MSCO’s marketing services. This is the first of several new initiatives MSCO will use to drum up business through the rest of this year.

It’s in this way our model is so different from other advertising agencies and marketing firms in the area. In addition to getting jobs from large companies through networking and RFPs, we also have a successful retail model based on advertising ROI, something few agencies can say about themselves. When you think about it, if ad agencies believed so much in advertising products, why wouldn’t they do it for themselves? We’ve proven it can work with more than 5 years of successful advertising in New York City.

Bestie Bag Now Working with MSCO

MSCO landed yet another new client today in Bestie Bag. A unique children’s bag which has already been a lot of fun to work with so far, imagine a small tote with a stylish design. Now picture half of it being covered with a brightly colored fur. That’s a Bestie Bag.

After seeing the product (a bag initially created for children to aid in sensory learning), we were able to turn the idea around completely, finding product potential in the tween market and creating a strategy we can now bring to life. To do this, we plan to build an interactive community around the brand. Currently, we have five bags in five different colors. Each bag will be represented by a female character that has her own personality. These girls, the Bestie Girls, will carry their Bestie Bag everywhere.

From there, we’ll grow through social media and non-traditional marketing techniques to get positive word-of-mouth and a viral buzz going. At that point, the sky’s the limit, making this one of the most exciting products MSCO has marketed in a while.

Mid Month New Client Roundup

Two new clients begin work with MSCO today, marking the start of two new marketing relationships as we seek to position each client for the best success in their industry.

Teams of Distinction (formerly People NRG) is an executive coaching firm with Swiss roots that helps build teams and keep companies of all sizes moving forward. We’ve refocused their brand starting with a basic question: Do you really have a team? When you really look at it (and we’re developing ways for managers and CEOs to do just that), most “teams” are simply groups of people that can’t get on the same page and don’t like each other very much. Teams of Distinction helps companies make a u-turn from one of these “teams of extinction” into a Team of Distinction, hence the name. For them, we’ll be playing up some of their Swiss heritage as it relates to precision and this new methodology at industry events, through the Society of Human Resource Management and in other marketing.

Also starting with MSCO is At Home Senior Care, a home-based senior aid service. We’ve refreshed their branding and are working on their marketing materials to give them a stronger presence in their industry. Other marketing and advertising will undoubtedly follow.

Pair of New Clients Join MSCO

With a reputation for building businesses of all sizes, MSCO often has an eclectic group of clients in industries ranging from athletics to insurance. This week, MSCO welcomed two new dynamic clients into the fold looking to grow their business with our marketing help:

Law Offices of Alan J Pickel – This Stamford based personal injury lawyer looks to MSCO in order to help him define a market niche and provide him with a great deal of exposure through advertising, both traditional and digital. We anticipate  success in streamlining his marketing and focusing his appeal like a laser on a particular client need.

Compensation Refunds – This B2B client comes to MSCO to help him pitch his services to businesses overpaying on insurance, particularly workers’ compensation benefits. By negotiating the complexities of insurance bureaucracy and requirements of the law, Compensation Benefits stands to help their clients recoup tens of thousands of dollars in refunds for overpayments. Given a little exposure to the right decision makers, MSCO feels this is an easy sell that could revolutionize the way insurance benefits are calculated industry wide.
