Jade Goodman Named New Web Content Writer
If you follow the blog you may have gotten used to me as your web content writer. My pacing and overall writing style have brought you news and events from around MSCO’s world for the past several months. Now, the time has come to pass the torch along to another talented writer. Allow me to (re)introduce you all to Jade Goodman, who will be the new web content writer on The Scoop.
As you may have read before, Jade has been an account strategist here for several months. She is an excellent writer and has filled in for me as a web content writer while I was away at times. Now, she will write all of our news and updates for The Scoop. As we always intended, this gives you a behind-the-scenes peek into what we do here at MSCO while also highlighting some of our bigger client successes in public relations, advertising and branding. In short: get to know us, we’re amazing!
Meanwhile, I’m not retiring as a web content writer. Look for my new series of columns with tips on how to improve your business through digital marketing, savvy writing, online presence, and traditional advertising.
It all comes back to variety. Any web content writer would tell you that mixing it up with different posts and topics is the key to success. Having a range of different posts keeps our blog interesting for clients, business owners, and followers of marketing in general.
My new Tommy’s Tips column will appear on Tuesdays (Tommy Tuesdays, get it?) and offer insight into more than just MSCO. We’ll focus on trends in internet marketing, public relations, website design and more. Consider it a guide to small business marketing and advertising brought to you by one of Westchester’s leading marketing firms. It’ll be a blast, I promise.
Thanks again for continuing to follow The Scoop @ MSCO. Look for more from us as we close out 2014 on a high note! Read More

TF Andrew Store in Westchester Public Relations Hit
The latest step in our public relations and marketing strategy for TF Andrew happened last night as we helped the new high-end flooring superstore celebrate their grand opening in Elmsford. Dozens of people joined us for an evening of food, fashion and flooring with a special presentation from Habitat for Humanity recognizing the Faheys for their commitment to the community.
As one of the top Westchester public relations agencies, we brought in Cottages & Gardens
magazine as an event sponsor. The high end glossy publication invited their select subscriber list of affluent residents and designers to the party. Also in attendance were some of TF Andrew’s notable business partners and customers, Westchester public relations professionals, as well as staff from MSCO, including myself and our CEO Mark Stevens.
Score this as another win in MSCO’s public relations strategy. We’re all very pleased with the turnout and reception, so a big hand goes out to the finest Westchester public relations team there is. Next up for TF Andrew in our marketing strategy for TF Andrew will be digital advertising, cable TV in Westchester public relations and other advertising. Stay tuned for more updates as this campaign unfolds, including a sneak peek at our brand new TV commercial next week. Read More
Video Production Begins for TF Andrew Cable Spot
Westchester’s premier flooring center TF Andrew has enlisted MSCO to script, produce and air its first TV commercial. We shot the first half of that commercial yesterday on location in Greenwich, CT. Special thanks to Nick and Amy for allowing us to use their house for the video production.
This Westchester video production is just the next step in our marketing strategy for TF Andrew which includes, a new high-end branding, TV, print, internet marketing, PPC advertising and direct mail. We’re pulling out all the stops promoting their new store in Elmsford and helping them transition their New Rochelle location into the upscale showroom experience currently offered at their flagship. We’ll also be opening an outlet center for deals on designer name floors sometime in the coming months.
With 10 actors, including extras (and a cameo by yours truly as the flower guy), it was one of MSCO’s most involving commercial scripts of late. Not a problem for director and producer Stephen Kerstein who managed the actors magnificently and got some great footage during the 8 hour video production for the :30 second commercial. If you live in Westchester, look for the spot on networks like Bravo, Food Network, HGTV, News 12 and more. And look for more coming from TF Andrew in the coming weeks and months, including a big grand opening gala Thursday October 16th at their Elmsford showroom. Read More
Creatives Rejoice Over New MSCO Game Table
Last week, the MSCO staff got the well deserved present of a game table. Right on the main floor, this three-in-one table serves as a central gathering place for us to unwind and spend a little bonding time over non-client work. Also, the relaxing atmosphere such a game table lends to the office allows our creative team to come up with stronger strategies. That’s why you have forward thinking companies like Apple and Google provide these amenities to their employees.
Above, that’s me losing badly to our new designer Ligia while playing ping pong. Absent from her resume was her career as a semi pro your ping pong star, apparently. I’m still undefeated in billiards though.
